Greyson, stumbled around doing a lot of side quests including acting as an enforcer for the Captain of the rather dubiously installed King, assassinating the odd rebel here and there and warning off the editor of an underground paper which were making claims the King poisoned the real heir to the throne. I seem to have upset some bloody local beggar who turns out to be a top class fighter and owns has loads of magic available to him and I can't make any impression on his armour. So I'm reduced to sneaking around when I have to visit the area he frequents to avoid being attacked on sight and having to teleport out again just to save my skin. Thankfully I can do this pretty well these days and can avoid the palace gates he seems to be camped outside of. My attacks on him are useless and make no dent in his armour or magic shields and all magic used on him reflects back and hits me. Having completed a fair number of peripheral quests I've started out on what seem to be the main quest and am investigating some sort of Goblin army in the sewers and caves under Mournhold. Having cleared out 3 sewer districts I need to get back and rest up as some main skills have increased and I need the rest for them to take effect, I may already have wasted one increase by continuing when I should have rested. But to do that I'll have to return to my new home, claimed when I killed it's occupant, and then return back to the sewer complex retracing steps I'd already taken on teh way to my current location Battlefiled, which seems to be a cave complex as opposed to smelly sewers..

Having returned to my bad, I rested up, headed back to Valdenfell to pick up some better weapons in my home there and then launched my self back into teh Mournhold sewers only to find some of the damned Goblins I'd killed had respawned so I had to dispose of them again. At least that was only in the first section. I eventually found my way thorugh to some older area of the city tunnels and two epic fights ensued with the two Goblin warlords, I softened them up with fireballs and lightening bolts before entering a physical fray, unfortunately they'd resisted some of the magic but what got through was enough to ensure I survived that fight. There are still two more key characters to find in these god-foresaken tunnels and they are Elven trainers both of a decent level so it'll be another tough fight when I find them. I may have to head back to my resting base to dump some of the loot as I'm getting overloaded and my magic weapons need to recover their charges.

The fight wasn't so tough after all, when I eventually found the two trainers together at the end of a long cavern I readied some magic, namely a fireball that would drain 10 points of health on the person it hit and 10 points for each of Anitra 10 seconds following the hit, and the same applied to anyone within a 10 foot radius. Having crept up on the enemy, to within something like 100 feet I launched the first fireball, it was a hit and what's more the idiots didn't react, maybe they didn't know where it came from. So I just kept launching the fireballs until I ran out of mana. By this time the trainers were running towards me, I had time to swallow a restore magica potion and launch another fireball as they reached me. This resulted in both trainers staggering and falling over before they could lay a finger (so to speak) on me. Take that you scum.
It was time to rest so gathering all the booty I could carry and more I fired off a recall spell and teleported to my temporary home base. Dumping the booty I took time out to recover from my wounds and exertions.
Returning to teh quest giver results in a nice 15,000 gp reward and directions to the next quest giver.
Following the directions I end up being directed to clearing out an old Temp Shrine located under the temple somewhere and oncxe again this results in a journey through some sewers. These are infested with undead, mainly skeletons of various levels, but the shrine is surrounded by profane acolytes, these are the things that have corrupted teh shrine and what I really need to destroy before I escort some low level preist back to cleanse the shrine. The profane acolytes turn out to be Ancient Liches, who surpisingly turn out to be a less tougher thena the opponents in the last quest, though they are a biot harder to kill as they keep summoning Undead to fight for them. Plus the last one managed to hit me witha reduce strength spell requiring me to dump some booty in order to keep moving.
But the shrine was eventually cleared and once more taking time out to recover and also find and buy a Restore strength potion it's now time to go and find the Preist who will help me complete this mission.
How many more shitholes must I travel through to complete this bloody module?

I had thought the easy part oif teh quest was done, but as soon as I started escorting the preist through tthe sewers several undead that I'd previously killed respawned, so I had to keep telling the preist to hang back while I killed them again, the journey in and back out was slow, at least the worst of the undead didn't respawn.
It's neeverending I have yet another task to complete in teh sewers now, recovering some ancient mage's band for the goddess Almalexia. No one is sure why she want's it. But the task is set. Back to the Undead.

The retreival of the band, which wasn't magic was easier than expected though i had to see off another 10 liches. On returning to Archcanon Gavas Drin I wa sinformed that the Godess Almalexia was so pleased with my work she wanted to meet me in person, so here she is:

Since the last post I completed a dew more quests along the main story line, nothing particularly heavy, first off the temple and palace guards were aided in defeating a Fabricant attack on the city plaza. Then I investigated where they came from which happened to be hidden entrance under the statue in the central part of the plaza. I didn't got to far in as a battle was raging between some new style fabricants and some older ones. When it finished the winners started blasting me big time and I was losing health hand over fist so left sharpish to report what I'd seen.
Next up I foiled an assassination attempt on the King's mother which was pretty easy, then defeated his Champion bodyguard in a dual organised by the king. That resulted in me being told to return to see the Goddess Almalexia as she has another task for me; namely returning to the complex under the plaza to find a weather machine and set it up to start generating Ash clouds over the city. I don't fancy going back into that cave complex and meeting up with those heavy duty fabricants, especially as they seen to be fighting as a group. It will be tough going that is for certain. Plus this causing bad weather business sounds fishy to me.

The first hall was tough, but I worked on a strategy of sneaking up to the room, blasting the 'robots' with fireballs and jumping back to swallow restore magica potions when I was deleted. It works in whittling down the numbers to four, that left two that hid themselves away. So I dropped down to the floor level and looted what I could from the dead fabricants and obtained some nice heavy duty darts that inflicted incredible damage on each hit. This helped no end with what was left and they were cleared out very quickly.
I'm not in the process of clearing out each area of the complex utilising the Dweamer darts to great effect, with hardly any damage to myself.
I'll be certainly hanging onto some of these as I think they will be very useful i n the endgame when I come across something particularly nasty.

I managed to complete the remaining tasks in the quest to create ashclouds over Mournhold and was reqrded with Sweet fanny Adams. But the trees are all dying now form the Ash storms. This Goddess is not what she claims to be. However on the the next quest, she claims one of her chosen guards is acting weird and is slandering her good name, it turns out he can be found in the Godsreach area of Mournhold, the location of my hideaway. So off we go to stock up on weapons, potions etc.
The quest ends up in a bit of a mess as I find the guard and creep up on him hoping to relieve him of any decent weapons. The pickpocket fails and he runs around like a madman alerting all and sundry to my faux pax.
So I end up attacking him before he attacks me with teh final outcome being declared as murder, that results in a challange by a high Ordinator to pay a 1042gp fine and giv eup all the stolen goods I have on me. I resist arrest, swallow a couple of potions of healing and proceeed to slash teh guard to death, thankfully out of sight of everyone else, then I teleport myself back to my hideaway. dump all the stolen goods, sleep of my exertions and wander out to face the next guard who wanders around outside my front door. I pay the fine and as the only goods on my person are my own, I don't lose anything else and can go back to my questing with a clean slate.
My reward for disposing of the slanderer is a Constant 5 point bonus to Unarmored, plus Light, Medium and Heavy Armor ratings. This is a permanent ability soe all my stats are boosted without resorting to limited time magica.
The next task is to find 3 parts of an ancient Sword Truefire and have it reforged and enchanted. This involes finding the parts in Mournhold and and having it reforged in the craftsman centre, then revisiting the Fabricant caves to find a ghost who can enchant the blade with a special tar that is found in a deeper part of the system. This passes off without too many problems apart from a kerfuffle with a Dremora Lord who conjours up a couple of hefty Golden Saints to do bidding, That was a little hairy but I came out of it ok, minus a few Exclusive potions of healing. The net result of the task is that I end up with Trueflame which a pretty hefty one handed sword which can do some serious damage and inflict Fire Damage of 30pts in 1ft on Touch.
Reporting back to Almale xia, She was excited and began to speak of greater things to come. But first I needed to take out a mad God, Sotha Sil. Apparently, the god has become mad over the years tinkering in his Clockwork City. Almalexia believes that he must be stopped, as he is a danger to all of Morrowind. She asked if I was ready and I agreed I was, suspecting this to be the greatest task of all. With that I was teleported to the Clockwork City, as I looked around there was a collapsed tunnel nearby which i suspected was the old entrance, it looked like the way back was now the way forward.
Moving through the tunnels half submerged in water I encountered multiple strange fabricants which were despatched in a deliberate slow manner. On a number of occassions puzzles needed solving in order to progress, and traps needed bypassing in ways that required fast footwork. SOme traps worked in my favour, particulary the ones where spikes shot out of the ground, and corridors of swinging axes. Numerous fabricants were lured into these and died without me laying a finger or weapon on them. The worst trap was a round dome where I had to ascent to a pathway around teh dome at a high level, but a giant rotating saw on teh end of a long arm was swing continually around the room on a circular motion. It was moving fast and I needed to down 18 bottles of enhance speed in ordewr to out run the saw and dive into the alcove hiding the door to the next section. I only just made it and if I'd needed more potions I'd have been trapped down there forever.
I've now managed to make my way to the Dome of the Imperfect and finished off the session with a long rest to recover my health and restore my weapons magica outside of the entrance door. Things are gettiing more dangerous now and I fear for my safety. Have I really got enough potions and magica to finish this quest?

Well I entered the dome of teh Imperfect wandered around a bit and what looked like a huge statue trurned out to be a very large and aggressive fabricant of some form, it satrted blasting me with lightening and was doiing big damage, thankfully it was slow, so I ran around a lot to keep out of it's way and blasted it with whatever magic I had to hand, firebals, lightening drain health. I also had to swallow a few potions of restore health to stay on my feet. I eventually had to close in and hit teh damn thing with weapons, Trueflame came into it's own here and I finally got the upper hand getting it's health to go down faster than mine. When it eventually fell it gave up a rather decent potion of Imperfect Elixir which restores health, Magica and fatigue at 20 points per second for 15 sends, that will be handy in the next room, as that is teh Dome of the mad God which I think may be the big one.

I ventured into the Mad God's dome and found him dead, nothing else in there. no secret panels or rooms, nothing. What the fcuk? How do I get out of here now, no teleport allowed, no doors other than the one I came through and the entrance to the city was blocked by a rock fall. I can think of only one possibility a door in an early section that I hadn't opened. I guess I'll have to go all the way back and retrace my steps. Something fishy is going on here.

Well that was interesting, I went towards the exit door and who should have appeared before me but the Goddess Almalexia herself, I knew there was something odd about her. She launched into a spiel about how the Clockwork City was to be my grave and how she had killed Sotha Sil who mocked her in death with his silence. it was a pretty long and boring speach at teh end of which I ran backwards away from her casting shield, magic reflect, protect from magica/fire/shock spells on myself as I prepared for a battle royal, preferably out of range of her hopesfire sword. Remembering my Dwarven darts, all 37 of them I launced in sending one after the other into her as she closed on me, Her first attack recuced my health by half. but the darts were doing their job as here health started to drop, doding spells and letting the reflect and protec spells do their job I managed to keep my health from dropping too much and once I'd taken a restore health potion to give me more hit points than her I got the upper hand.
remembering I had Azura's Star soul gem on me, In I went with SoulDrinker a short sword that cast a powerful Trap Soul spell on teh Goddess. I was faster than her and just hit her one stab after another and her health dropped at an alarming rate, her Hopesfire sword didn't seem to be doing me too much damage and as she fell I breathed a sigh of relief, I was down to 147 HP out of 396. Thank you magic potions, I was regaining health faster than she could hit at one point.
She had hoped to make me a martyr to her cause and failed, now her she lies dead and I have her loot, Hopesfire a sword simi;are to Trueflame but delivering shock damage rather than Fire damage. I also have her mazed band which seems to Summon a fabricant for 120 seconds, and when I put it on allows me to teleport between Mournhold, Vivic and The Clockwork City. I'm off to recover now and tell the King what happened.
I think this quest is all but over.

Well it wasn't quite, Azura appeared before me when I left the temple and told me that it was Almalexia that was mad and she had hoped to gain support from her follower off teh back of my death, saying that she would have claimed I'd died believing in her cause.
It was time to report to the King, which I did and gained a full suit of Royal guard armour for my troubles. which was nice, but I'm pretty happy with the armour I already have. I did a bit of selling of surplus loot and nicked a special dagger that I'd donated to the local Museum, figuring it was better to be used in my hands than laying on a plinth to the benefit of no one.
And it was time to head back to my real home and maybe talk to the other God Vivic to see what he has to say about the affair.
Them maybe onto the Bloodmoon quest at the island of Soltheim where it is told that werewolves live.

Soltheim countryside seems to be full of Hags and wood spirits, it's a pain in the bum travelling anywhere overland as you have to stop evey five minutes to have a fight. The first few quests have been finished easily, now I'm on my way to find out what happened to Fort Frostmouth's leader, who disappeared after a pesumed Werewolf attack while I was out looking to break a weapons smuggling ring. I may have to go back to Balmora to drop off a load of stuff that I'm carring as I seem to be way overloaded, and I don't have anywherer to stash loot on Soltheim yet. In order to get some of the forts inhabitants to talk to me I have to were the legion's uniform, or at least teh significant bits of it. So I had to steal some and drop it by a well inside teh fort when not in use. An inventory clearout is the next essential step though as I'm probably carring a load of stuff I don't really need.

Loot was stashed and quests undertaken, the way to avoid so many fights on overland travel was obvious really, just equip myself with my contant effect Levitation shield and I fly above them all out of range, whats mor ei get a better view of teh lay of the land.
The Captain of the Fort is still missing and the locals say they know nothing about his disappearence, but I've been told to live with the local Skaal's and geain their trust, they may open up more. As a result I'm on a quest to find and activate 6 of their sacred stones which is interesting to say the least. I've managed to find and activate two by stumbling on the accidentally.
Thankfully the map the Skaal shamman gave me is not too bad, giving rough locations.
It's a cold place this and the enemies are tough.

The third stone (The Sun Stone) is done, The others completed so far are the WInd Stone and the Tree Stone. That leaves The Beast Stone, The Water Stone and The Earth stone to reactivate.
The Beast stone is proabbly the nearest to where I am so I'll head that way.

The beast stone has been activated after I resuced a bear being attacked by Ricklings (Goblin like creatures) and escorted it back to teh stone. I met my first Werewolf in this as it attacked the bear I was escorting didn't seem to hard to kill, well not with Hopesfire anyway.

The final stone, The Water stone has been activated, and that was an interesting experience, I have to find the water of healing potion in a submerged cavern beneath the sea, guided by a Holker swimmer (a creature that is bit like a Walrus). Thankfully I had a Helmet that held a swift Swim and breath underwater spell that lastesd for 240 seconds each time it was cast. but it felt weird swimming so long under water.
Reporting back to the Skaals I now have to find out the truth between two Skaal, one of whom claimed the other robbed him. In the meantime anther off mainline quest requires me to find a missing supply ship and I've detoured back to my base in Balmora to offload a large quantity of loot. One of which is a powerful Skall mace which deals some really heavy damage, the only trouble is that it weighs arounf a 6th of what I can carry so, that is offloaded too.
